1/2cupcheese of choicewe did gouda and brick cheese from buholzer Brothers since it melts good
5eggs
Splash of milk
Dash of buttery steakhouse rub
Dash of shake tasty blend
Chives to serve
Butter and extra virgin olive oil yo cook the eggs
Instructions
Mix eggs, splash of milk and seasoning. Add butter and extra virgin olive oil in the pan and let butter melt on low medium heat. When ready, add the egg mixture and cook for a few minutes but not fully as they will continue to cook once placed on the bread.
Carve the bread, layer cheeses, then layer eggs and finally top with the sausage making sure to cover the whole surface (the meat tends to shrink when cooked).
Heat griddle on medium heat, spray some cooking spray and place the bread with the meat side down. Press the top with the spatula. Flip and do the same on the other side. Cook for about 2 minutes on each side.
If sausage isn't fully cooked, put in the oven at 350°F until the meat reaches 165°F.
Serve with some chopped chives if desired.
Notes
~you can use whatever cheese you prefer: gouda, sharp cheddar, mozzarella. We used that brand since it was indicated for grilled cheese and wanted to try it out.
